So nice to meet you! I'm Jessica Lattimore, an enthusiastic educator with over three decades of experience. My mission is to create transformative learning environments where educators and students thrive.

I provide professional learning experiences, 1:1 coaching, curriculum development, and support that empower educators to build effective relationships and create engaging, student-centered learning environments.

A Journey of Impact

My educational journey began with a simple belief: strong teacher-student relationships are key to effective learning. This belief has shaped my career from my early days as a classroom teacher to my current roles as a mentor, coach, and leader. I am dedicated to fostering collaboration and community engagement, leaving a lasting impact on the world of education.

Community engagement is at the core of my work. Bringing the community into the classroom has always been an essential part of my instruction. As a founding member of Community Schools and the Rome Alliance for Education (RAE), I have been instrumental in advancing educational opportunities within the Rome City School District. My ongoing involvement with RAE's board underscores my dedication to promoting the Connected Community Schools model and ensuring equitable learning environments for all students.

As the director of the Rome Teacher Center, I have played a pivotal role in providing professional learning experiences, curriculum development, and teacher support.

My certifications as a Google Educator, Cognitive Coach, and Curriculum Developer reflect my commitment to embracing technology and innovative teaching methodologies.

Empowering Educators, Impacting Lives

My expertise extends beyond the classroom, encompassing conflict resolution training and cognitive coaching. I believe in the power of collaboration and work tirelessly to unite teachers, schools, and districts to create meaningful learning experiences for every student. In my final years of teaching, I even added a class pet, Maximus the bearded dragon, to strengthen student relationships in the classroom during a time of tremendous change for students. Maximus became a symbol of resilience and adaptability, helping to foster a sense of community and connection among students.
